Starting an Internet Business

Starting an internet business can be a problem to the average individual if one does not take the proper steps. When you consider that over 90% fail and give up in the 3rd month, because they are spending more money, and taking in less.

Imagine if you taught a class on starting an internet business every week, and had ten students in your class, the grim reality is only one will succeed. I find this startling, why only one, why not 7 or better. I think the hype all over the internet has contributed to this, too much, too often, and also late night infomercials is to blame.

What the problem I see is that the average person does not take the time and effort to thoroughly investigate each and every opportunity they're looking at. There are hundreds of review sites over the internet, so you're able to do a search on an opportunity and find out exactly what's going on. For example, if your looking to get into real estate and looking at a particular guru, simply do a "Google" search on that person, and behold, stacks of information at your feet.

And another problem with starting an internet business is the amount of $$$$$ it takes, don't be mislead, you don't have to sell the farm to get started. Remember, starting any business will take time, effort and money, what you spend is entirely up to you. I was that average person, spent too much $$$$, and lost royally in my first attempt, but thru lessons learned, I do now "earn".

One final note, when you find your opportunity and are ready, make sure you " mentor" with someone, a person that is very successful in that field, not a call center where they're paid $10-15 an hour. Find out how mentoring helped me to a steady income with an internet business!
