Content Match

This is a term you'll see being used more and more with Google and Overture on pay- per- click search engines.

Content match simply means that when a person types in a keyword phrase or a set of phrases your listing will show up, even though your website is not relevant to what their looking for.

Example, you have a website that offers information on gardening, such as having a garden, vegetables, potatoes and how to grow them properly outside as well as flowers and various plants. A person looking for information on house plants and flowers types in flowers and ends up at your website, this is a wasted click and will costs you $$ because the person was looking for indoor flowers and plants, not interested in outdoor planting.

A good rule of thumb is to turn off your "content match" feature and not worry about wasted clicks and money on your part.
