Carleton Sheets
Here is a man who has been around for twenty years, maybe even longer than anyone
else on TV. His claim to fame is his no money down ,bad credit, course on buying
property. The course is quite long as it appears to even be getting longer as the
popular infomercial continues to grow. He admonishes his students every year
with a big gala in Hawaii, while they talk about their properties, and their new found
net worth.
I bought this course on the 30 day $9.98 look, the full cost of this mega course,
the entire latest one, will cost you $370.00.But you can also purchase many more
of his latest ad ons, such as video material, additional audio on cd, and the list goes
on.There is a lot of info to get thru, so I gave it my best to finish this reading and
listening in a few weeks.
There is so much involved in this approach to buying property that I hope one
could find the time to do it. You have to do some leg work prior to even getting to
the closing table, scouting neighborhoods , finding average costs of the homes in
these places, and so on and so on! Carleton talks about buying property with no
credit, or bad, but, as you begin reading into the pages he promotes good credit,
and advises you to improve your credit, which is good advice, but he doesn't
really point out in detail how to buy with less than perfect credit.
My opinion would be to go and get your real estate license if you have a mind
to get into buying and selling property, oh, by the way, Carleton Sheets promotes
the fact you should get your real estate license in his course.
One final note, if you live in a part of the country where real estate is high to
begin with, such as the Northeast, California, and other areas, this course will not
work for you, it may work if you live in small rural areas where the costs of homes
is much less.
