Build Your Net Worth- Thru Real Estate.com
This review is two fold, the above real estate course and entering
into a joint venture. Some time ago I was contacted by the author
of this real estate course Kirk Leaphart, and in the call he asked me
if I was interested in helping him to market this antique course
written some 11 years ago, with no success, I agreed.
He sent me a copy of the original course and I read it, nothing new.
During the next 4-6 weeks I had my web designer put together a web
site, I wrote the ad copy for the site, I wrote the order page, and put
an advertising campaign with Google to promote the site, and also
helped with the name of the site, though I think it's too long a name.
Now, for all of this I was to receive a percentage of the total sales, the
ebook and the course. As soon as everything was completed, the website,
the Google campaign, and the merchant account to accept the sales, Mr.
Leaphart decided he wanted to change the advertising and merchant account
and put them in his name. Originally we agreed that the above accounts were
to be managed by me and he would pay for the advertising, because I had the
experience in this field.
Do you see where this story is going, a perfect example of a joint venture
going sour. Joint ventures can be good, but in this case the other person
could not be trusted, I was warned, should of listened to her, my mistake.
We all learn from our mistakes, and for Kirk Leaphart, he disappeared like
the ancient ruins of Greece, my time, efforts, nothing out of this. So it is
apparent, I don't recommend his course, nor do I advise you to enter into
a joint venture unless you know more about the person.
There are a lot of good opportunities out there, just be diligent in your
searches, take the time and your results will turn out better, just like the
one I found below.
